Esker Body Plane

Get the smoothest skin of your life with the Body Plane – Esker's patent-pending, in-house-designed body exfoliator tool. The Body Plane uses a colloidal sterling silver blunt edge to gently scrape the skin of dead skin, dullness, and impurities while providing an intimate and gentle self-massage. Inspired by the rituals of Greek and Roman bathhouses, the Body Plane is intended to be used when the skin is warm, damp, and freshly anointed with oil.

Esker chose colloidal sterling silver for the blade for its naturally antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. The grip is crafted from premium teak wood because of its beauty and durability.

The Body Plane is an exfoliation tool and results are unique to each skin it touches. Results will vary from person to person and from use to use. Sometimes, you will lift lots of dirt and oil from the skin, and sometimes, you will notice less. Rest assured, the tool is working its magic to remove dry skin, dirt, and impurities from the body.   
 
The Body Plane works best when skin is wet, warm, and primed with body oil. It can be used in the shower or bath or just afterwards if the body is not towel dried.
 
Working from the toes up and one limb at a time, apply a single pump of your favorite oil, lightly spread the oil across the skin and quickly follow with long, gentle strokes of the Body Plane working the energy up towards the heart. 
 
Remove excess dirt and oil from the Body Plane by wiping it on a cloth.
 
Repeat on each body part you would like to plane, using a single pump of oil each time. We recommend stronger pressure and longer strokes on the arms and legs and shorter, gentler strokes on the chest, torso, and neck.
